The Kansas Society of CPAs was looking to create content for their members in an exciting format that went beyond the typical newsletter/e-mail blast that many organizations rely on to provide information to their members. Open rates for such emails typically hover around 20% across the non-profit industry. By filming talk shows using multiple camera/multiple microphone setups, members get a better feel for the information while attaching a human element that doesn’t come across in print. Viewer rates are very high and continue to climb. Sunflower was able to film this episode in just over an hour using live editing, and the final product was up for members in a matter of a couple of days. Furthermore, the video can be embedded on websites, member sites, social media sites and more.

This format also allows revenue opportunities for the client, who can sell advertisements (pre-roll, post-roll and lower thirds) to be included. Finally, the talk show was hosted by Sunflower’s own Michelle MacBain, who brings the professionalism and realism to all conference and video projects for Sunflower.
